I always find it fascinating when people visiting my blog come from far and wide, particularly outside of the UK. I am from England, in a county called Lincolnshire. Lincolnshire is known for its agriculture, fields, sausages and Lincoln Cathedral. It’s quiet, but only a short distance from cities such as Hull and Doncaster. I found growing up in Lincolnshire to be dull and uninspiring, but as I get older I appreciate it a little more. From 2009 to 2012 I lived in Leeds which is in Yorkshire, England. It was far more inspiring, beautiful and my god the endless hills gave me amazing legs.
So I’ve lived in two places, but I doubt I would ever leave the UK as the truth is I would likely be homesick and I have small children to consider. For now, I’m quite happy reading, writing, preparing for the publication of my upcoming novel, putting off learning to play the piano, killing plants, and drinking tea. I’m all set for the foreseeable future. In many ways I feel my life is on hold until my book is out. What will life be like on the other side? We’ll have to wait and see.
For now, you know 3 new things about me: I live in Lincolnshire, I have two children and I would like to learn piano.
What about you? Where do you live? What are your loves and aspirations?
