Here is an excerpt from my flash fiction piece But the Main Character Never Dies which was published in Reflex Press 2022 Anthology, In Defence of Psuedoscience.

“She had always suspected she lived in a cartoon. The colours of her surroundings were too vivid for real life with lurid hues of magenta and cyan. Noises came with onomatopoeic words encased in zig-zags for emphasis. It was enough to make her dizzy, to see stars above her head spinning in rotation.”
